In 2010, Asia becomes the main production base of LED including LED Ceiling Lights. Japan, Korea and China account for 81.3% of the whole market. Korea has the highest growing speed among all Asian countries. Investment began in 2002 and then LED backlit liquid TV market was created in 2009, by 2010 its market occupancy close to 10%. Japan stand still at the top place in the whole world with high quality and strong research and development ability. Its market occupancy exceeds 50% from 2000~2005. Affected by economies of scale and low price strategy from Taiwan, the data decreased to 41.5% form 2006 to 2010. In terms of China, Taiwan holds a share of 20% from 2003 to 2006, after that it gain a little increase and reached 25.3%. Mainland China grows slowly with a share of 5% in 2010.
